1. Controller
The controller for the processing of your personal data on this website is TenDo (Hosti.ch), a sole proprietorship at Schaffhauserstrasse 58, 8180 Bülach, Zurich, Switzerland. Contact: via our contact form or hallo@hosti.ch.
This policy follows the revised Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revFADP, in force since 1 September 2023). Where the GDPR applies, the additional rights it provides are reserved.
2. Data we process
Server log files: when you visit the site, data transmitted by your browser is recorded automatically (IP address, date and time, pages accessed, browser type) for secure operation and error analysis.
Enquiry and contact form: when you use our lead form or contact form, we process the data you provide — name, email address, optional phone number, and details about your request (desired service, industry, existing website, canton, company size, message).
Newsletter: if you subscribe, we process your email address until you unsubscribe.
Local storage: we use only functional local storage (theme preference in localStorage, form progress in sessionStorage). No tracking cookies are set.
3. Purposes and legal bases
We process your data to answer enquiries, provide and invoice our services, send confirmations, and operate and improve the website securely. The basis is your request or consent and our legitimate interest in efficient customer communication. Under the revFADP, processing is lawful where it is carried out in good faith and proportionately.
4. Processors and third parties
To deliver our services we use carefully selected providers that process data on our behalf: Vercel Inc. (hosting/CDN, USA), Attio (CRM for managing enquiries, USA/EU) and Resend (sending confirmation emails, USA). For privacy-friendly analytics we use — where enabled — Friendly/Plausible Analytics (cookieless, EU-hosted).
Your data is not passed to third parties for their own purposes. Disclosure only takes place where we are legally required to do so.
5. Transfer abroad
Some of our providers process data in the USA. Switzerland does not recognise the USA as generally providing adequate protection; transfers are therefore safeguarded by appropriate guarantees — in particular Standard Contractual Clauses and/or certification under the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. By using our forms, you acknowledge this transfer.
6. Retention
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the stated purposes or due to statutory retention obligations. The data is then deleted or anonymised.
7. Data security
Transmission is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS. We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access.
8. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure and restriction of processing, as well as the right to object and to data release/portability. Please contact us via our contact form. You may also lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
9. Changes
We may update this privacy policy at any time. The version published on this page applies.
